I’m helping organize a little bridal shower for Lance’s cousin, Joannah. Since I am unschooled in all things bridal, I Googled.

And I found The Lucky Coin Game. Has anyone heard of it? If you have and are not questioning why it is even CALLED a game, please call me immediately. It’s not a game! I don’t know what to call it, except hilarious. See below, from Abbee.com:

First take a coin and tape it securely to the underside of a chair (ok, a weird but promising start). At an appropriate (ha) moment during the party ask the guests to look underneath the seat of their chair (exciting group involvement! we all duck together!) The guest who is sitting on the ‘lucky chair’ and finds the coin is the winner of the game (whoa. wait. it’s over?) and receives a small prize (wow, it really IS over….um, how small?)

This could be a prettily presented candle, some chocolates or candy, a bookmark, a small potted plant, potpourri or any other small gift of your choice.

All I have to say is…a BOOKMARK??????
